Automatic Configuration Setup
Installing Nextcloud on several servers should not be painful and time-consuming, as you probably do not want to set up each instance separately. This is why Nextcloud provides a way to automatically configure multiple servers.
Creating a configuration file
The way the automatic configuration setup works is that your Nextcloud instance will follow a configuration file with a certain number of parameters. You can autoconfigure as many or as few parameters as you need: when you enter your Nextcloud instances for the first time, you will separately complete the setup on the "Finish setup" screen.
In order to configure all your Nextcloud instances at once, you must first create a configuration file, called
../nextcloud/config/autoconfig.php, and set the file parameters as required. As said earlier, you don't have to specify all parameters, as you can specify the remaining ones when first launching Nextcloud.
