Apache VirtualHosts¶

Virtual hosts in Apache allow for multiple websites to be hosted with a single web server and are generally considered to be best practice when hosting a website, including Nextcloud. Regardless of whether the customer is using Ubuntu, RHEL operating systems or self-signed, 3rd party CA, or Let's Encrypt (certbot) certificates and keys, the VirtualHost config is really important to ensure proper SSL key configuration, even if the Nextcloud host is the only website on the server.
