  • Managed Nextcloud Instances

As an ISP or Nextcloud Partner you might want to manage Nextcloud instances for your customers. This will allow you to restrict admin access for your customer. For example you can restrict Nextcloud features to the features the customer pays for. E.g. a customer who pays for Nextcloud Files should not be able to activate Talk or Groupware features.

The strategy used here obviously depends on how much flexibility and responsibility you want to give to the customer and how much of the management you want to handle yourself. In this document we lay out a strategy that will restrict customer access to tasks that were delegated to them while leaving the rest of the maintenance tasks with the provider.
