This article describes the most common causes of a bad performance or when Nextcloud is slow, and how to make Nextcloud fast again. This page describes how the support team analyses these systems.

The steps in this article are especially useful if you have a slow Nextcloud, or if a part of Nextcloud (like a specific app) is slow, but also if you notice a high CPU usage on your system.

The steps in this article are also ranked by likelyhood, so the issues that we see most often are listed on the top and the issues that we have only seen rarely are listed at the bottom of this article.
