Installation of Nextcloud Talk Recording Server¶

The Nextcloud Talk Recording Server is an additional component of Talk that needs to be setup to be able to record calls.

The nextcloud-spreed-repository, only available to customers, contains prebuilt packages of the recording server for Ubuntu Focal (20.04), Ubuntu Jammy (22.04) and Debian Bullseye (11). In the case of Debian Bullseye note that the packages from Ubuntu Focal will be used, there are no Debian specific packages in the repository. To install the recording server on other distributions a manual installation as described in the recording server documentation is needed.
